Africa things: Moment boy’s clothes caught fire during deliverance in church

Typical of the kind of religion we practice in Africa, a deliverance session which almost turned tragic was rather interpreted as a miracle in progress, as seen in a video that recently leaked online after a boy’s cloth caught fire.

In front of the congregation, the pastor was praying for a youngster and his mother when his clothing caught fire.

As seen in the video shared herein, the duo was standing holding hands when something hit the boy’s hand and he reacted in pain. Shortly after his shirt was on fire, prompting some ushers to tush him and extinguish it.

Predictably, the congregants presumably believed it to be a sign from God that their prayers were being heard, but internet users were quick to point out the gimmicks employed by the obvious man of God in making his ministry popular and ‘fearful.’
